Music Magnates Mourn Minidisc Monstrosity

The music industry (names withheld for no real reason (ignorance suspected)) has expressed negativity and harsh vibes about new recording systems that allow up to 100 hours of music on a single disc.

The launches come as the global music industry suffers its worst downturn since the CD format was introduced. Free online downloading and disc copying have been widely blamed for the slump in sales.

New Scientist

Piracy has long been blamed for bad sales, but it's high time the record companies stopped mistaking content with filler and treated the customer with dignity.

It's rumoured that Sony Music is none too thrilled that Sony Electronics be providing the medium for piracy; but eggs must be broken in order to make golden omlettes and bad analogies.

In other news: WATCH OUT FOR DENGUE FEVER.

Dark and neverending is the trail of a labyrinth below Edmonson County, Kentucky. Beyond the shallow graves and lime walls, Mammoth Cave is the literal long tail of cave systems. Alas, no minotaurs or woolly mammoths call the caverns home.

Undone, unbound, the sounds aground, life's taking the train with a soundtrack of harmonic dissonance, of inner turmoils and evolutionary spotchecking.
