Sensing an evaporation of the employment waters, recruitment shackle, Monster, have decided to bail on the Australian and New Zealand market.
The move comes in the same week that News Limited's CareerOne have been bombarding Australian television screens to announce their refocussing and realignment into a well of printed job advertisements of the offline online.
Monster, a proponent of the one-size-fits-all rule to job applications and résumés, assures users that they will still maintain their presence in the Asia Pacific region. A region that in the past few years—thanks largely to a booming market in call centres and IT related support—has reasserted itself as the world's slave labour pool.
"Market circumstances" lie among the reasons given over Monster uprooting themselves from Australia and New Zealand. A rationale which is sure to confound those who are still searching the job market looking for employment which they believe can increase funds for firearms with which to taste lead with.
But subsidies and street side busking exists in parallel for that venture.
