Muslim Teachings Deemed Too Extreme

Primarily believed to be the doing only of terrorists and TV evangelists, the extreme representations of religion have been considered tasty fodder for leaders of jihads and holy war campaigns. The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, Shaikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Ashaikh has taken a need to issue a revision of sections of some literary and educational material deemed to promote an excessiveness of the words of the Quran. The wordings of these teachings have been seen to sway impressionable youths into the ways of the strap-on explosives.

King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has warned that terror networks were using misguided Muslim youths to further their cause. "By playing into the hands of terror networks, these youths have tarnished the image of Islam and Muslims."

King Fahd emphasized the important mission of the mosque in Islam, which is to promote peace, tolerance, moderation and wisdom. King Fahd added that fulfillment of this mission will help show the youth the correct path of Islam, distancing them from grievance, aggression and evil.
