DNA Bioscience, a self-proclaimed "nation wide leader in providing DNA paternity and identity services," recently floated the UK's first DNA Reference Card. The issue of the credit-card sized cards has apparently been spurred on by demand from their clients.
"All of our customers come to us on a voluntary basis," said Rebecca Webster, Operations Director of the company, "and have the choice as to whether or not they want to have us provide them with the card. This is an entirely optional service but one we think will be of a significant benefit in the future," she stated.
Clients whom, if the sample card is to be believed, need to know more simpler things than just their DNA code.
