In a quagmire of double talk and worn out images the world is forced to remember yet again that CNN is the news feed of choice. From the looks of things it would seem to be one of the most ornate and delicate working holidays ever so planned.
The number of so-called 'seasoned' journalists has skyrocketed in the area surrounding what are now the bases of the World Trade Centre towers. Years prior to 2001 journalists would openly tire of the protest rallies held by the S11 group. Possibly foreseeing some slow news days to come they watched on relay the flight of planes into the towers and the Pentagon.
There was nothing more covered than this and the journalists now enjoy a free ride to the states to give 'on-location' reports of the impact one year on. It's akin to writing a blank cheque, or perhaps an open ticket.
