Queensland asks the question of if a motorbike or e-scooter barrels itself against a car, who is going to clean up the mess? Head on against a bus, flattened under a ute or hitting a subcompact from behind, take them any day to wipe the other out.
Three (3) go on and forever past the coast lines in New South Wales during Operation Easter. The elderly, or at least those pushed past 60 see the bulk with an unknown gone crispy for the weekend.
South Australia only sees one (1) for fifth place during Operation Safe Holidays. Or was it Operation Safe Long Weekend? They run at the same time but like chasing the summer equinox it changes form when it finally emerges from the darkness. At least in the middle of the switch a burning bush takes the form of two trucks into each other, burst into flames.
The Northern Territory rides through with none. Try and clock some flying doors before and after, it won’t count because pre and post season numbers fall outside the region.
Western Australia either doesn’t report any fatalities, or just skips by the period with zero. Who knows. Perhaps Allan Faulkner has the score.
Nothing goes on in the ACT. Even days before the period they shepherded a transplant from Sydney, so even then they were trying to pull from out of time and space.
