Whale bones and crosses stand naked against the bloody sky

Condemnation from the Japanese whaling excursion as their seasonal harvest continues with bloody focus. Riding the waters and wake of the fleet out to collect more meat for the delicate diets of blubbering chefs, Greenpeace have made efforts to collect a little cumbersome.

Subverting protestors, the Keiko Maru chose instead to chopper a member of the ship offshore to Hobart for some medical attention. Expected to actually dock on Saturday morning, the recent attention has forced their hand in cloaking their movements.

Conflicting reports of the ailing crew member have his condition as a appendicitis. Others report that his stomach has not been sliced open nor his person hung upside down by the feet in order to confirm the medical status/ailment.

The Japanese fishing fleet, currently eyeing watery paddocks in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary, are taking a break. Seafood market movement, the Christmas/New Year period and the continuing and actual pressure from Greenpeace, likely contributing factors to the lay low.
