Brain Tuned Out To The Radio Dial (Ninja Wax Attack)

The last thing we need, I assure you, is radio presenters (who are already well know for their inane, insipid banality) to be making jokes about topics that every chump and his dog is already gonna be making jokes about.

And so it seems that the target of choice is Winona Rider and her little shop lifting escapade. Now, I don't condone her actions... well, it's not a question of me condoning her actions because I really don't care either way.

See: I'm a selfish man. I don't care about much until it starts to get on my nerves. I knew straight away that this Winona Ryder thing was going to blow up to a point where I would be hearing about it on the radio and seeing it in magazines for the rest of my natural life.

To that end, I'd like to offer the following to the DJ that disrupted my perfectly happy day by making a series of unfunny jokes on the topic in an attempt to be "hip", "cool" and possibly "groovy":

Hey Mr. DJ, I wouldn't be calling into question the profession of anyone, even a thief, especially when both your occupation and your sense of humour is of such a dubious nature.
I don't know what radio station you work at but I suspect that it is one that has Alex Lloyd on heavy rotation and as such your right to make fun of anyone has been completely undermined.
By contrast I find it easier to condone the actions of a shoplifter as opposed to your own which really amount to nothing more than the distribution of manufactured, pre-packaged and easy to consume offal. Offal, that you then have the gall to call music and/or topical humour.

I hope you choke on a goat.
