The Wax Conspiracy

Terror up the streets, run down the main and throw out a party

Looking down the lock down, the premiers of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania threw in their support for the Federal Government's counter-terrorism laws. Rumours of sudden misdirection through last minute changes and tweaks to the proposed bill opening many channels of questions on the strength, reach and rule of fine print and invisible ink.

Over in the public scales, competition for the public display of jump suits on rails heats up in the windy blows above the CBD. Countering the Sydney Harbour Bridge's ear-raging Bridge Climb, Sydney Tower unveiled their ear-popper, Skywalk.

Locals and tourists packing large with cash under their sweating armpits will now be able to throw up from atop the Centrepoint. With the opening of the roof waltzing tour to see the city sights amidst dizzying heights set up, the Sydney Opera House remains as the last icon for mass scalings.

Too long has the Sydney Tower, along with the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House gone without renewed attention at their public spectacle. Weeks, possibly even a month, has passed between mentions of being prime targets for wayward planes and last ditch crash landing efforts.

New counter-terrorism laws simmering into place on the day of the new Sydney Tower Skywalk unveiling is right in with keeping them inside the gates of focus.
