Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake's half-time performance at Super Bowl XXXVIII is running around naked with wild stories, thrown glares and trailing apologies. Core to the bare flesh is the intention of and total surprise of those involved.
An MTV news piece heralded "shocking moments" for the half-time entertainment. A shot which has led some to think that the rather startled singer popping out was in full knowledge despite later claims of not having rehearsed the scene previous to the performance.
"I am sorry if anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance at the Super Bowl," Timberlake said of the incident. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."
Apologies aside, Timberlake's hand doing away with Jackson's right breast plate clearly showed no "wardrobe malfunction."
