Cycle of Fear of Things That Were and Will

The Depression Alliance recently posted results of one of their commissioned surveys. Naturally it was a survey into of all things, Depression.

While it wasn't about the great period of time wherein bodies routinely fell out of the sky leaving slightly soiled suits, it does delve into the state of mind of the state of minds.

According to the survey, which is published in the current Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion, 85% of people who've been classified as patients and have suffered a bout of depression fear that their depression may return. The study also mentioned that of the patients who were given drugs to dampen the anxiety, two-thirds of them went on to leaving them alone, thus ensuring the return of heavy set moods.

With the depressed getting depressed about their depression returning, psychotherapists need never worry. Especially if surveys like this are anything to show their patients.
